Last March, Aitiip Technology Centre took part in JEC World 2025, the global trade show for composite materials held annually in Paris. This international conference gave the opportunity to present their latest work and advancements in the bioeconomy, specifically those aligned with the project’s objective in promoting and advancing circular and sustainable solutions in the composites sector.
One of the highlights of Aitiip’s participation was its pioneering work on end-of-life solutions for composite materials. The centre has successfully developed robotic dismantling systems for large-scale composites and solvolysis technologies for separating matrix and fiber components. These innovations retain the maximum value of recycled materials, enabling their reintegration into industrial processes.
“At Aitiip, we are committed to driving sustainable innovation. Our advanced recycling technologies are designed to meet the demands of a circular economy, providing high-value solutions for industries that rely on composite materials” stated Berta Gonzalvo, Research Director at Aitiip Technology Centre.
Through its participation in RESOURCE, Aitiip continues to strengthen its role in the European bioeconomy landscape, driving innovations that support sustainable manufacturing, resource efficiency, and low-carbon materials development.
