ANCES ACADEMY offers a knowledge sharing space within the Spanish Business Innovation Centers (BICs) ecosystem on topics related to business support activities. As part of RESOURCE, this activity was opened to project partners, and project pilots.

A first session, held on 15th of September 2023 and attended by 19 participants, the guest speaker, Jorge Zurita – General Manager 3Dzings, presented the last technologies in 3D printing technologies.

In the second session, held on October 20th, María Sanz de Galdeano, Managing Director of the CEEI Navarra, presented us how High Impact Entrepreneurship is leading Navarra Region. She presented the initial strategy that supports deep tech high impact companies, and circular economy startups and entrepreneurs

In the third session, held on November 17th, Francisco Pizarro, PCTEX- Fudecyt Managing Director and ANCES representative within EBN, introduced us the social entrepreneurship ecosystem concept, that includes all quadruple helix groups (academia, government, industry and society). He presented a methodology developed by Fundecyt to help to build the social innovation ecosystem. Social economy is closely related to circular economy as it emphasizes inclusive and socially responsible practices, aligning with the circular economy’s principles of minimizing waste, promoting sustainability, and fostering a more equitable and participatory economic system.

In the 8th Edition, held on December 15th, Guillermo Irure, Digital Entrepreneurship Mentor at CEIN Navarra, introduced a series of No Code tools, based on the application of agile methodologies, helpful to support startups

and entrepreneurs. These tools provide entrepreneurs and startups to develop their early stages MVPs, with almost no knowledge in programming tools and languages and in several months.

It can also be applied to outside digital areas, to support internal management, circular economy processes, education, innovation, and intra-entrepreneurship.

The main advantage of these tools is to reduce programming costs and accelerate interactions. A series of NOCODE tools were presented, to be used upon final needs:

  1. Framer: Similar to a WordPress allows you to create web sites – the web sites structure-
  2. WebFlow: This tool also allows you to create high quality web sites – the web sites structure- with trendy designs.
  3. Airtable: Allows you to manage relational data base easily
  4. Tally: Allows us to use dynamic forms, easily connected and usable.
  5. FlutterFlow: Allows us to create Applications (Apps)
  6. Make: Allows us to develop Automations, API integration and efficient workflows
  7. Softr: Allows us to develop a marketplace.

Guillermo also mentioned several successful CEIN use cases within the Digitech 2023 framework, such as Optime, a startup using FlutterFlow to develop an App helping student in managing flexible agendas, Rewait, a marketplace developed with Softr to connect easily and fast, or Click&home who developed a micro SaaS using Airtable facilitating real state managers to plan, control and manage the inside process.

All these tools provide entrepreneurs the chance to present the MVPs to the investors to be able to reach the next steps in their business growth.

The webinar was attended by 33 participants including CEEI Aragón (among other BICs and startups) who is transferring those very insightful outcomes to our pilot projects.
