Feltwood participated in the third meeting of Ebro Valley Agro Tech held in la Huesca on 18 September 2024 where more than 100 companies and startups from Aragon, Catalonia, La Rioja and Navarra have met. This meeting aims at accelerating the agri-food future.
Today, la Huesca has become the epicenter of agri-food innovation with the celebration of the third edition of Ebro Valley Agro Tech 2024. The WALQA Technology Park has been the setting for this event designed to promote the development of startups and companies in the agri-food sector in the Ebro Valley.
The participating business organisations had the opportunity to connect with investors, distributors and relevant experts in the sector, with the support of the Development Agency of La Rioja (ADER), the European Business and Innovation Center of Navarra (CEIN), the Aragonese Institute of Development (IAF) and the Agrobiotech Park of Lleida.
The day was divided in several sessions that addressed several key issues for the future of the agrifood sector and identified specific actions for the Territorial Network of Technological Specialization and digital entrepreneurship ‘Tech FabLab’, formed by six autonomous communities: Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia, Valencia, Navarra and La Rioja.
The day was structured in several sessions that have addressed several key issues for the future of the agri-food sector and presented the specific actions of the agri-food area of the Territorial Network of Technological Specialization and digital entrepreneurship ‘Tech FabLab’, formed by 6 autonomous communities: Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia, Valencia, Navarra and La Rioja.
Four companies have presented a compendium of good management practices and the application of emerging technologies by leading startups from different territories of the Network: Feltwood Ecomateriales from CEEIARAGON in Zaragoza, Talkual Foods (Bellpuig, Lleida), PANOimagen (Logroño) and Cocuus (Pamplona).
This meeting was attended by a large number of agri-food micro-enterprises, SMEs, investors and distributors interested in exploring the trends and challenges of the agri-food sector. It represented a unique opportunity to connect with the main players in the agri-food ecosystem of the Ebro Valley and contributed to the development of a more innovative, sustainable and competitive sector.
