Over the past few months, RESOURCE team has organized several workshops and events to foster collaboration, facilitate investment, and empower businesses in their transition towards sustainable practices.
RESOURCE’S Co-creation Workshop: Connecting Companies and Investors
In collaboration with the Government of Aragon, we successfully hosted the “First RESOURCE’S Co-creation Workshop” in Zaragoza on March 28th.
The primary objective of this event was to bridge the gap between companies seeking financing and potential investors. During the workshop, we were honoured to have the Chair of Circular Engineering at UNIZAR, Ángela Laguna. Cátedra SOCOTEC Ingeniería Circular, to deliver a keynote speech on “The Circular Economy in Aragón – Aragón Circular.” The participants included Aragonese companies, investors, and organizations involved in the European Resource project, representing various sectors and expertise.
Building upon the success of this workshop, we are excited to announce that an additional workshop on the activation of circular value networks in Aragon will take place in September 2023.
How to make an attractive business plan for investors, 28 April in Zaragoza
Our second workshop on “How to make an attractive business plan for investors”, was dedicated to RESOURCE selected projects and proved to be immensely valuable for them in terms of how to best accelerate companies, how to approach growth as a startup or as a company. Investors from XVALUE and Conexo Venture shared insightful knowledge on crafting attractive business plans to attract potential investors. This engaging session covered a range of topics, including value roadmaps, capital acquisition, investor engagement, reporting strategies, seed financing, and success factors. Additionally, this workshop facilitated synergies among RESOURCE startups, fostering networking opportunities. As a follow-up to this event, we will be organizing a workshop to assess how pilot projects have applied the acquired knowledge to their strategic plans and investment decks. This will help pilot projects fine tune and improve their pitch decks to attract investors.
These workshops and trainings are crucial steps in our mission to find investors for pilot projects related to the circular economy in Aragon.
