EBN2023 team including RESOURCE representatives
The 2023 EBN Congress, co-organised by the EBN Secretariat and EU|BIC JIC, was held on 14-15 June, in Brno, Czechia. Gathering over 300 corporate leaders, senior-level national and international government officials, and an international network of business incubation executives and innovative experts in a single location.
One of the thematic blocks of the 2023 EBN Congress was related to Access to finances:
- Innovative funding methods for the full life cycle of an innovative company
- Building networks of local and external investors (BA networks, VCs, and regional, national, and EU funding, for example)
Moreover, the Transversal themes were: Green Economy & sustainability, Digital Transformation and Cultural and Creative Industries.

It was a great opportunity for Resource project partners to meet with various EBN members and other partners involved in projects related to Circular Economy to discuss their projects, challenges and success stories in supporting SMEs and startups working in the circular economy. It placed great emphasis on community and collaboration within organizations, encouraging in-depth discussions and the sharing of experiences within the community of support organizations.
Sessions shed light on the invaluable role of support organizations in supporting scaling companies in accessing public and private funding, where some other sessions addressed how SMEs are delivering sustainability services and how cities are building more sustainable solutions for the citizens.
